Cool, functional but not easy.
Really cool and functions but I wouldn't say a kid could actually use it alone. Requires two hands and another person to start and stop. Kinda complicated and ours broke already:( but it is fun to make projects so quickly and get results for a cheap price. So probably still worth it in the end.

WE LOVE IT! I was hesitant to buy this machine for my 8-year-old because of some of the negative reviews, but I decided to take the chance, and I’m so glad I did. We absolutely love it!It’s a toy sewing machine, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s also safe for kids and a great way to start learning how to sew. My daughter was able to use it right away and even made a few Barbie outfits on the same day we received it.Overall, it’s been a fun and rewarding purchase for us.

I purchased this sewing machine for my 3 year old granddaughter. We had a blast using it. It isn't too difficult to explain how to use it. It has great safety features. It is easy to use. Very fun for little beginner sewers.

Perfect way to spark creativity!
I ordered this beginners sewing machine for my 8 year old granddaughter to use when she's with Grammie. She is always wanting to sew things when I'm using my sewing machine. So now she can work on projects along side me! This little thing is easy to use & my granddaughter has no problem working with it. I lobe that it came with little craft kits to get her started.
